Well since the main part of my truck is finished I thought i would start a thread for all of the mini projects i do to my truck on the weekends.
This is what my engine compartment looked like when i got the truck.
This is how it looks now.
I just cleaned everything up. Added the hood insulation, Overflow bottle, Made the passenger inner fender(still gotta do the drivers, New air filter, master cylinder cover, And a bunch of armor all. |

Thanks. When I bought the truck the computer was laying on top of the engine so the first thing i did was fab up that mount that bolts to the side of the intake. |

Then i had a quart of this GM poly silver left over from my 77 so i started out painting some parts.
Then one weekend i went to the junkyard and got a spare glovebox door and fiberglassed a plastic skull into it.

Over this past weekend i went to my favorite local junkyard and picked up a set of leather bravada buckets that match the color of my interior perfect.
The old seat
And the new seats

Well i accidentilly found this envoy bumper at the junkyard so I guess my sonoma is getting a facelift.
It had some damage so i repaired it with SMC Bumper repair adhesive and some mesh backing.
Went ahead and shaved the license plate holder also
Figured i'd drive around a few days with it in primer before i pull it back off for paint.

thanks. I'm pulling it back off tonight to block the primer and get some paint on it. I'm going to have to watch how i drive with this bumper. The little bit that it hangs lower than my stock valence did makes a big difference. I drug the bottom of the bumper pulling into work. |

Took my bumper and grill shell to work yesterday and sprayed them.
Then I went to work early and put the front of my truck back together in the parking lot.

Thanks. I like it alot. I think i'm gonna pull the mirrors off and spray them also. I have a pint of paint left from the other parts so i might as well use it. |

I repainted the silver trim pieces in the interior black since those pictures too. The silver looked to cheap to me. |
