pretty much what they said actually. As mentioned I don't intend on needing to shim them but if I do I can get shims in .001" increments from work if I need to fine tune the setup. My only concern currently is them possibly moving forward to back, this affecting my castor.
I'm going to play with it when I get it all together before welding everything in. I might just push them to the back as far as they will go and lock them in place, they won't have a tendency to move to the front of the truck. |

question bout the front suspension design. In the cad drawing it looks like the upper control arms angle out but in the current design looks like the control arms are gonna be close to equal lenght? |

yeah, the design was changed once I got more into it. I think I changed it about 4 times before settling on it.
The original picture on the first page was without any real measurements though, it was just the look I was going for |

When I posted that picture I thought it looked pretty damn weird. It's really just an optical illusion, the oil filter is at least an inch away from where the motor mount actually is |

I drilled out the taper on the yota spindles and sleeved them for the new bolts.
I also got the upper control arms made and tacked on the mounts and bolted it all together

I really like how easy they make assembly, lol. There was a couple of times during construction I would have been cussing right and left if I had to deal with a tapered balljoint. |

Hey man looks good. I am really from Indiana but i found your cardomain with it written on the dusty roof. I just bought your old ranger of a guy in indy. I love it and am doing some stuff to make it my own.
if you have any other pics of the build on the blue ranger would you mind sending them to me.
also what show are you going to attend this year might be cool to see you old truck. |

Update is that it is moving from the shop to its new unfinished home this weekend, lol
I've been rebuilding my garage at the house over the past couple of months, which still needs a ton of little things in order to really use it so hopefully I can work balls to the wall on it this winter |
