clubs in Ohio

Recently I've noticed some bigger names entering OH as far as clubs go. What all clubs have prospects or petitioning members in OH these days

I think I've seen NR and Severed recently, are some of you guys heading up chapters or are they having you petition under another state for the time being.

All of us petitioning for Severed are petitioning under the Indiana chapter and once we are given full logo we will still be under Indiana for a while until they approve of Ohio having their own chapter.

i think chucks still prospecting, but yeah he's the only one in ohio. funny you ask this mike cause i was just wondering the same thing since i found out about chuck a while back and then just noticed bagsn22s sig said he was petitoning

I really don't mind though because the Indiana dudes are really cool and I've had a blast hanging out with them so far.

you know what i know ill tell you what i know dont laugh

ok i know this costly obsesion seems to have bad ass rides but i know very little about them.

i know that im grandfathered into pg but i dont think im actually in pg

i know that the best way to get into a club is to have a common interest. now here is where it gets complicated. mind you im not here to offend anybody. common interest is not i like minitrucks and acro likes minitrucks that isnt it. lets take mike for example his ranger and his bronko are in no way shape or form close to eachother but there are the same common interest very clean very well put together do you see what im saying. acro is a sought after club like severed ties is or nc was in the day. the have quality rides they turn heads they get in magazines. now if you take my aproach and build a very clean very personal ride that turns heads and and gets in magazines then you know what the other person who has built a very clean top level ride has gone through giving you what i call commen interest the ability to relate to what that other person is going through and that makes for a stronger club. and i for one would love to have peers like that. but alas there is no one that can compete with my utter insanity. so sit back build your ride and enjoy the trip

I remember seeing that before the site crashed and I haven't seen him back on here. I'm not sure how legit that deal was, but the president of Indiana is from California and he moved up here for work and has yet to mention anything about someone being in Ohio.

and the last line is perfect man! The rides are what brings us togehter.. clubs are just who u roll with.. i have some great friends in many other clubs and respect other clubs jus as i expect to be respected for the club i'm in.. were all in this for the same thing!

ST petition once the Toyota comes out, I think its great that Ohio will have some more national/international clubs now.

CJ- Gumby moved here from AZ he was is in Art of Noize, had the magnum when he moved, then built his 07 Taco that was on the cover of street trucks.

glad to see ohio is gain some godo clubs.. MIchigan is also we now have Relaxed.. local Finesse severed,but i belive they are under Indiana not to sure...

as far as indiana chapter goes, they re headed up by The Don Shagwell himself (e.i.grant customs/SD)and is a two member (solid) LEGIT chapter of Severed Ties. i have been in talks with the REAL AZ. guys (kurt @autocore, Ash and rabbit) for about a year about putting a vote up for an Ohio chapter, as I have been combing and watching the forum for possible members to contribute to la familia and have contacted a few of you. sorry but fly rides aside, you HAVE to be able to bring something to the table and have filled the club requirements. Club pride is cool, but it often draws the wrong attention also. We are Picky!

Yea i have to say, and not kissing ass- but you yankee minitruckers are a bit different but seem pretty damn cool lmao i have had a great welcoming here on OMT! hell some of the D&D guys i have chatted to thru myspace for years when i first moved here and didnt know a single dragger around! lol im stoked to meet the rest of you kats at LOATP this year! and back to the forum topic, no matter what flag you fly-were in this scene for the same reasons Betches! i just brought back my old club from back in the day local legends it started in 96 we got 15 or so members all from cincinnati hang out and work on everyone rides big clubs are cool but i feel more of a familything with my group

For sure. They are the first club I ever hung out with and I always had a blast with them. They would also always make you feel like you were one of them even if you weren't in the club.

I always have a good time with the PG crew, I remember greenville the first year we would have died without them and there tent and chair.

That was a good time. Remeber that lady tring to teach us how to eat crawfish. She had that big ass bag of them. Shit was gross!

Also the tent was nice and they were nice enough to let me fix my brake line in front of there tent

Im from Ohio and an active duty Marine stationed in NC i attend alot of shows here and its really where the show scene started for me since out side of cruise fest in pataskala i didnt know of many custom cars or mini truck shows that wasnt older muscle based car shows i have been trying to post up pics of my truck but its not letting me very well w/ url from facebook any help in this and i will gladly show you my truck

i think being in a club would be cool, but to say you gotta be at so many shows, or so much done to your ride i just dont understand. i like the more of a common intrest thing. no matter what u drive a minitruck, a rice burner or hell a mini van lol. but i like to hang out with guys work on each others projects and chill at the shop till sun up or sun down. im the guy that will give u my shirt off my back if it will help you. the only thing is there is not alot of people around me other than high school kids that think goin fast in a straight line with a fwd is cool. im not being mean to each is its own, ya know. to be in a club would be cool but just hanging out grabbin a bite to eat or chillin at the shop ( even if just bs'ing) is fine by me. but hey i am only one guy and i cant just start a club and look wierd being member 001 the one and only lol, but just my input. sorry for writing a book

our club..Negative Altitudes is based out of northeast ohio. we are mainly made up of members from lake and ashtabula county. we started off as two guys having passion for the truck world. we started our club in 2006. myself along with few others have been involved with trucks a long ass time. then some our in it a short time. theres about 10 of us now, and a few kinda checking us out. we our very tight knit and close friends. its very true, its not just trucks, we all like family. we are always helping eachother work on this and that. thats my outlook on things and your right man, to each his own.

chuck is a full member now and the Ohio "president". there are a few other petitioning members as well including myself.
